What information do we collect about you?

 

We collect information about you when you become a member, contact us or engage with our services or members. We also collect information when you complete surveys, participate in Hub meetings & projects or provide feedback to us. Information may also be provided when you post in the Hubs or participate in the cross charity mystery shopping program either as a ‘shopper’ (someone who completes the feedback form) or as a ‘participant’ (someone who has registered their organisation to receive shops NB. Participants must have authority to register their organisation).

 

Website usage is collected with your consent by using cookies. This may mean we collect data on when you log on to the site which pages are viewed and for how long as well as log in location. This information may be used for the purpose of improving the services provided by site admins.

Some additional information may be collected when you take on roles within the Hub administration such as a Hub Champion.

How will we use the information about you?

 

We will use the information we collect about you to process and review your membership, to manage & operate the F2F Hub, to engage with you on requests and to provide requested services.

 

As a member you may occassionaly recieve communications which request your conribution or offer the opportunity to preview materials developed by the Hubs.

If you subscribe to any of our communications, you can opt out at any time and are given an easy way to do this.

We use your information collected from the website to provide the services you have requested and to keep your contact information and preferences up to date.

We will not share your information with any third parties for marketing purposes without your prior consent.

If you opt in to receiving updates & news about our current, upcoming and new services you may opt out by contacting the site administrator (james@byroncommunications.com)

We may contact users with any relevant notices such as changes to the terms of service, privacy policy or services provided.

We may also use your information for the purpose of providing technical support or resolving technical problems with the site.

We may also use your information to create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services.

Information may also be used to comply with any applicable laws and regulations. Information may also be shared with The Fundraising Regulator for the purpose of complaint resolution.

Site Ownership & Management

 

The site is owned, managed and administered by Byron Communications. Byron communications is the trading name for James McGlaughlin, operating as a sole trader. The website is registered to jdb.mcglaughlin@gmail.com. Byron communications provides training in public fundraising & public fundraising consulting services (F2F/TM). 3rd Party providers

 

The network is hosted on Wix.com platform. Wix provides us with the tools that allow us to provide our services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com ‘s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications.  They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. How do we communicate with visitors?

 

We may contact you by email, text, phone or whatsapp. This will be done to administer the Hubs (eg. Set up meetings, coordinate documents) to respond to requests,  provide services & updates, conduct market research and support in dispute resolution, as well as any other reasonable reason or reason set out elsewhere within this policy.

Cookies

F2fhub.org uses cookies in order to provide & analyse its services, as well as to improve user experience and ensure security. The site has been designed using Wix.com tools and is hosted on Wix.com platform, utilizing their Wix Dashboard. As such it uses cookies native to the Wix.com platform as well as any issued by the 3rd party providers listed in this policy. No additional cookies have been added by f2fhub.org. We believe all cookies used to be essential to the running of this site. If you are aware of any non-essential cookies running on this site please notify james@byroncommunications.com and we will seek to have them removed from the site.

Individual Hubs

The individual Hubs that make up the network (eg. The Compliance Monitoring Hub) are run by volunteers. F2FHub.com does not prescribe nor endorse any 3rd party platforms that may be used to facilitate their running (eg. the use of Zoom or Skype for virtual meetings. Should you use any of these services while participating in the Hub activities, you should review their own privacy policy before use.

Hub Champions may hold data provided to them for the purpose of administering the Hub or one of it's projects. This may be aggregated or specific. Please establish a terms of use for any additional data provided within Hubs before providing.

Visitors to our websites

When someone visits one of our websites we use a third party Google Analytics to collect standard internet log information and details of visitors’ behaviour patterns. We do this to find out such things as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Google Analytics to make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through the website we will up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

Cross Charity Mystery Shopping Program

Participants in this program will hae their name, organisation and email stored on a database for the purpose of administering the program. The form iprocessed using 'Poll' an Aplication from Powr.io. When signing up you may be prompted to verify your email with Powr.io and sign up to their site to access the dashboard. In doing so you agree to the Powr.io terms of service and privacy policy, please see thier site for further details. Participants must have the permission of the organisation they represent.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

 

How to withdraw consent/delete personal data/make a subjectg access request?

 

If you would like to withdraw consent for the use of your data, make a subject access request or would like your data to be deleted, please contact the site administrator (james@byroncommunications.com). Please note that withdrawing consent for the processing of data may result in termination of membership. Returning to the site may also cause data to be collected again.

Data storage

All data is stored on the Wix.com platform or with Powr.io where the application is used on the site. Additional information may be held on Byron Communications hard drives. Please review the Wix.com and Powr.io privacy policies for further information.

Data retention

Data will be retained for the duration of a users membership of the network and for up to 6 years after or in accordance with any 'right to be forgotten' requests

If you email us

You should be aware that any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit.

We will also monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.
